July 4th Coming!

Dear family and friends,

We said good-bye to Dr. Jeff and Dr. Black, two recently schooled young doctors from Taiwan, who have been running clinics and have lifted the bar in so many of our CLP clinics.  They will be missed.  As soon as men complete their final college degrees in Taiwan, they have to commit to one year of military service.  Serving in Majuro for four months is a part of their military commitment.

Going away party!
Our young missionaries have been working so hard to share the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Their obedient dedication has given this gift to five people who were baptized Saturday.  What a rewarding moment to hear them bare their testimonies of the truthfulness of this good work.

On each end, you can see the two elders and two sister missionaries who taught the lessons.  The fourth man from the right is a new counselor in the Uliga Bishopric, who performed the ordinances.  The other five people dressed in white are those ready to be baptized.

Five baptisms.  Great time for our Uliga Ward.

Elder Preston and I had another successful Saturday serving nutritional food samples at the bimonthly farmer's market  with our Taiwanese friends.  We have met so many incredible people.  We are truly fortunate people.
Brown rice with vegetables and wheat protein.

Our new office couple enjoying the food samples.

Remember that we love you.
